Turnout is everything; and the Trump loathing left is said to be so energized that they will crawl over hot goals to vote for any Democrat with a pulse if it ends in a Trump impeachment after the 2018 midterms.
Conversely, the enthusiasm of Conservatives, who still stand by President Trump, is said to be on life support. It’s hard to generate genuine enthusiasm for establishment swamp creature Republicans and duller than dirt wannabe RINOs (Republican in Name Only) who can’t even match the faux temporary conservative values of Democrats running in Red States or districts.
Add in the pattern of the out of power party traditionally picking up congressional seats in mid-term elections, and you have, according to the giddy with probable electoral revenge mainstream propagandists, the perfect storm to take back Congress, block anything President Trump tries to do, and guarantee that Trump is a disgraced, one term bad joke. Happy Days will soon be here again!
But the Democrats may have to hold onto their Trojan Horse. Their recent excessive playing of their “hate card” may be just the fuel to light the fire in the hearts of comatose Conservatives who can’t seem to muster the “hot coal crossing” energy to drag themselves to the polls to vote for a Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan clone.
The Democrat’s hideous, brutal abuse of President Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner and their even more vicious, slanderous character assassination of Admiral Ronny Jackson causing him to step down not only as President Trump’s nominee to head Veteran Affairs, but to resign as the White House physician, could be a rallying call for anyone with even a scintilla of fairness and civility.
Are decent Americans going to let some left wing hate monger mock Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ appearance, weight, and credibility as liberal bullies laugh and high five each other shielded in the darkness of their annual media circus? Imagine what the left would do if some foul mouthed conservative “comic” (as though such a person exists or would ever be invited to keynote the White House Correspondent’s dinner), with Oprah Winfrey sitting at the head table, ripped Oprah to shreds over her weight, her looks, her credibility.
Are conservatives going to write this off as business as usual or are we going to find our “mad as hell” pulse and “Stand up for Sarah”?
As for Dr. Jackson, whose reputation and magnificent career has been devastatingly sullied by the same bullies who want Trump impeached and find humor and comfort in ridiculing a woman’s appearance, are conservatives going to look the other way as the left’s politics of personal destruction earns another “scalp” for their trophy room?
One thing is certain, as long as the left’s bullying remains unchallenged and achieves its desired end…electing liberals and mutilating the lives and character of anyone the left sees as “in their way”…it will flourish and metastasize.
Time is getting short; but if the left wing abuse of Sarah Sanders and Dr. Ronny Jackson isn’t a wake up call to all who are repulsed by these tactics, the Swamp will win in 2018. Stand up for Sarah. Don’t let the Democrats kill the Good Doctor. Enough is enough… the battle to make America Great Again must not be derailed by the likes of a hateful comedic shrew or a disgraceful U.S. Senator who few had ever heard of before last week.
It’s time to remind them again that they can’t push one of us around without awaking a sleeping army of patriotic Americans who have never walked away from a fight with bullies.
