New York Times Redefines Hate Speech to Keep Left Wing Hate Alive!

Opinion: If We Silence Hate Speech, Will We Silence Resistance?

The above New York Times article is a classic example of leftist transference and faux redefinition to perpetuate propaganda.

The headline alone reveals their objective.  “IF WE SILENCE HATE SPEECH, WILL WE SILENCE THE RESISTANCE?”

First, the left assumes they and they alone have a monopoly on defining hate speech (anything they do not agree with); and second, they assume they have the exclusive franchise on being the “resistance” (the political left) and therefore the resistance is noble and their freedom of speech must be preserved above all else.

Ironically, their headline is atypically accurate for the New York Times… because if you silence the RESISTANCE as defined by them, that would go a long long way in eradicating most hate speech in America today.  It was evidently a Freudian slip by the Times.

However, if you are well versed in the tactics of the political left, this New York Times article verges on being amateur political manipulation.  They seem to be getting lazy which exposes an innate disrespect for the intelligence of those who dance to their doctrine and/or their manipulation tactics are getting tired from over use.

As always, they play the race card…not surprising, because if the debate was over which cereal is best: Cocoa-Puffs or Shredded Wheat, those picking Shredded Wheat would be likely be defined by the left as white supremacist racists.  Talk about a leftist tactic being tired from over use…”the race card” should be on life-support.

Second, the “resistance”, according to the TIMES includes those on the far left whose trademark is hate speech and violence.  Antifa, a group of violent rent a mob thugs, who hide their Caucasian cowardice behind masks as they throw urine and feces on police officers of diverse ethnicity, are not exactly the civil rights and social justice champions of the past…not even close.  Pink hatted hate mongers spewing obscenities and preaching violence against all things Trump are not the re-incarnation of the suffragettes.  The Hollywood left who call for Baron Trump to be caged with pedophiles and assassination of the president are not the Dr. Kings of our time.

We know that Black Lives Matter was funded by and worked closely with the Clinton campaign to play the race card against candidate Donald Trump; if you don’t support them, you are accused of believing “Black lives don’t matter.”   Which explains the use of the photo the Times selected for this article on good (the political left) vs. evil (conservatives).  Note: If you click onto the Times’ op-ed, you will see the photo of a person of color wearing a “Black Lives Matter” earring.

But what is the N.Y. Times’ objective here?  To defend free speech, even for the most heinous, at all cost?  No, that is not their mission.  If that was their battle cry, they would have decried the massive effort to shut down free speech on college campuses….and they have been noticeably AWOL in that crusade.

The N.Y. Times, the Democrats house organ, is trying to keep the fire of hate burning in the hearts of Trump loathers…this week’s primary results were disappointing for them, even though they did a far better job at getting their vote out than the Republicans, and they fear as the weather cools and the economy heats up, their dreams of taking back the House and impeaching Trump might not be realized.  They desperately need to keep “hate” alive among their base or they will lose in November.

The left knows, the real “resistance” in America today in not among their ranks.  The “resistance” includes those who voted to “drain the Swamp” who are sick of anti-American, anti-family, anti-business, anti-worker, anti-military, anti-Christian “politically correct” liberals who want to transform the country they loathe into a bastion of social experimentation. government giveaways, and open borders.

The New York Times can fake that they are the voice of the “resistance”; in the real world, they are the establishment big government enthusiast elitists who haven’t gotten over that the real resistance rose up and rejected them and their ilk in 2016.  They want their power back…will the authentic resistance thwart them again in 2018?
